Katy is the founder of Espy Skin and is passionate about helping save lives through the early detection of skin cancer. She believes that professional skin checks should be affordable and accessible, ensuring cost is never a barrier to receiving quality care.
With more than 30 years of experience as a New Zealand Registered Nurse and almost a decade specialising in dermoscopy and skin cancer surveillance, Katy is highly experienced in identifying skin cancers and precancerous lesions, including melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and actinic keratoses.
Known for her warm and compassionate approach, Katy is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their skin check. She also provides tailored skin cancer education and can assist with referrals and treatment recommendations when further care is needed.
